Heritage Producer Role/Opportunities
Are you interested in the following opportunities being offered by Rotherham Council's Capital of Culture Team :-
"Calling all 16-to-25 year olds from Rotherham!
Interested in history and heritage, in planning and putting on creative events, or in connecting with your local community?
Would you like to receive training, support and a grant of £4,000 to help you do just that? Then apply to become a Heritage Producer!
As part of Children's Capital of Culture's festival year, they are running an ambitious new creative project that will work with communities right across Rotherham – and they are now looking for 25 brand-new Heritage Producers to help deliver it!
From May 2025 until March 2026, their 25 Heritage Producers will each work in one of Rotherham's wards. During this time, their Heritage Producers will put on events and activities that celebrate culture in their community and collect and preserve the memories and experiences of people living in their ward.
To apply to become a Heritage Producer, you must:
Be aged 16-to-25
Live, work, or study in the Rotherham borough
Application deadline: Sunday 13th April, 11.59pm
